Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data Eden collects, how we use it, and your rights. Eden is operated by James Wood, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller. You can reach us at info@edendesign.space.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
- Your designs: if you sign in, the designs you choose to sync are stored so they follow you across devices. If you don't sign in, your designs stay in your browser's local storage on your device only.
- Order data: when you place a print order, the name, delivery address and contact details you provide, plus the order itself.
- Payment data: card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: basic logs and device/usage information needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- to provide the editor, sync your designs and keep you signed in;
- to process and deliver any orders you place;
- to operate AI and stock-image features you choose to use;
- to secure the service, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations;
- to contact you about your account or orders.
Legal bases
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service and fulfilling orders), to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing Eden. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We use trusted providers to run Eden, who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:
- Supabase: authentication and cloud storage of your synced designs;
- Vercel: hosting and delivery of the application;
- Stripe: payment processing for orders;
- our print-fulfilment partner, Levels Custom Apparel, to produce and ship orders you place;
- AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google): only the text or image prompt for an AI feature you actively use;
- stock-image libraries (such as Pexels and Wikimedia Commons): only your search terms when you use stock search;
- Google Fonts: your browser fetches font files from Google when a design uses certain fonts.
Cookies and local storage
Eden uses essential cookies and your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to save your designs and preferences on your device. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We keep account and design data while your account is active. If you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep limited records (for example, order and tax records) to meet legal obligations. If you create a public share link for a design, that shared copy is stored under the link rather than your account and stays available until the link is deleted, independently of your account.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data (“right to erasure”);
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
- object to or restrict certain processing; and
- withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email info@edendesign.space. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Eden is not intended for children under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will be highlighted.
